On weekends, we usually escape into the mountains away from cities (Beijing and Shanghai). We will do camping, hiking in those areas with high peaks, spectacular views and mountain streams. All are waiting to be explored by you.
In general, for weekend activities, it will take about 2-7 hours to get to the destination, depending on where you go.
For golden weeks in May and October, you can expect more expeditions to those remote regions, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Yunnan (Shangri-la) and etc. Different terrains and vegetation zones, like desert, snow field, rain forest, mountain eco-system, are along your way.
