What’s special in our destination--- Southeast Region of Guizhou Province？
The Miaos create a variety of colorful arts and crafts, including cross-stitch work, embroidery, weaving, batik, and paper-cuts. Their batik technique dates back 1,000 years. A pattern is first drawn on white cloth with a knife dipped in hot wax. Then the cloth is boiled in dye. The wax melts to leave a white pattern on a blue background. In recent years, improved technology has made it possible to print more colorful designs, and many Miao handicrafts are now exported.
They are fond of singing and dancing, and have a highly-developed folk literature. Their songs, which do not rhyme and vary greatly in length from a few lines to more than 15,000, are easy to understand and are very popular among the Miaos.
The lusheng is their favorite musical instrument. In addition, flutes, copper drum, mouth organs, the xiao (a vertical bamboo flute) and the suona horn are also very popular. Popular dances include the lusheng dance, drum dance and bench dance.
You are more likely to be moved by the atmosphere and their hospitality and soon get involved in the dancing and drinking there.
Itinerary:
D1: From Beijing to Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou Province.
Meet in Longdongbao Airport, Guiyang. Enjoy local cuisine.

D2: The schedule plan is basic caving to get a glimpse at Karst Caves in China.
You are going to transfer back to Guiyang in the evening, and taste the local delicacy---Pickled Fish Soup

D3: Today we will punctuate our trip into the mountain to experience the real custom of minority Miao. In the morning, we take a bus to Taijiang Fanpai and wandering in the Miao village.
You are expected to watch the performance of Local Wood Drum and Dance. Then you need backpack 3 hours to Baibang Village, beautiful scenes along the way.

D4: More than backpacking trip in the morning, now you can bring out what you prepared and donate that to local children in poverty. Doing some interactive games with them will leave you both an unforgettable memory. After lunch, we’ll make our way to Jianhe County to enjoy hot spring.

D5: Go on our trip. You can notice the influence of Han. In the afternoon, Shidong is on the list, famous for its silver accessory processing, maybe you can find one for yourself. The whole day is full of cultural, historic details.

D6: You can choose among Qinglong Cave, ancient buildings, the great wall of Miao. Then taste the air cured pork and the sweet-scented osmanthus drink (a local wine).

After lunch, we are transferred back to Guiyang and arrange a party.
