Hunshandake Desert:
Hunshandake means Lonely Horse in Mongolian Dialect, getting its name from Genghis Khan ,a Mongolian warlord and a highly respected figure in Mongolian history. There is a 340km span from west to east while the span of north to south varies from 30~100km , covering an area of 21,400 square meters.
Sand hills, lakes and various plants such as willow, elm and poplar trees surround you as you drive farther and farther into this desert
Dalainuoer Lake:
Hunshandake means lake like Sea in Mongolian Dialect, the second largest inland lake in Inner Mongolia. During the trip, you are awarded with different fishes in the lake and watching migratory birds, to say, swans and cranes of all kinds. Bring your binocular with you.
