Located at the brink of Anhui Province and Zhejiang Province (next to Shanghai), the highest peak of Mountain Tianmu, it enjoys the altitude of 1787.2 meter, the second highest peak in East China Region. It is also the most popular activity among the outdoor enthusiasts.
It is named Qingliang Natural Reserve since 1979, covering an area of 15 square kilometer. This range offers high mountain ridge, dense forest, clear mountain streams and bountiful natural resource. After a challenging day of ascending and descending, you will be rewarded with a splendid panoramic view as well as a wonderful meadow campsite. Another feature has to be mentioned is the cloud sea and a fantastic place to shot majestic sunset and sunrise.
The whole route is a relatively technical one, also a bit tiring, for it will take about 8-9 hours to ascend and 7-8 hours to descend.
Itinerary:
Generally, we started on Friday evening for this place, and you are expected to be on the chartered bus for about 5 hours to get there. You will be arranged to accommodate in local farmers’ house. (It is tidy and comfortable.)
In the next day, we will start early, at about 8 o’clock after breakfast (included). Today’s trip requires your endurance because of the elevation and length.
(We have 5 routes for Peak Qingliang, each one of different level, when you choose your trip, pay attention to it!)
After ascending a slope named Desperate Slope, just celebrate your successful summiting. A flat meadow spreads before you, inviting you to set the tent and enjoy your hot dinner.
The third day’s task is easier compared with the former day’s. You are getting used to walking in the wilderness, enjoying the gift of nature. In some parts, you will walk along the ridge of the mountain, providing you with a panoramic landscape.
