Outdoor Clothing

Take such points into consideration, such as the activities level you will be in and the climate over there.

Which function do you expect of your clothing performance, breathable, wicking, quick drying, insulating, wind and waterproofing? For backpacking journey, you may also need it being durable and lightweight.

To reach the balance between these, we highly recommend the three-layers clothing.

Base Layer
It is also given the name of next-to-skin layer, wicking moisture to keep you dry and maintain body temperature.
Most of the customers fix on an idea that the cotton underwear is the most comfortable, which is wrong here.
Materials, to say, silk, wool and synthetic (Polartec, Powerdry, coolmax) perform much better, offering the combination of moisture wicking and softness.

Insulation Layer
This layer is to keep you warm and hold your heat as well as wick moisture, picking up where the base layer leaves off.
Synthetic fleece is widely used in outdoor fields as it is lightweight and breathable. Moreover it function its insulating ability even wet. This should be in your budget as an essential item.
In extreme cold and relatively dry condition, goose down jacket is your excellent choice. With its compressible ability, you can carry it without worry. Be sure to keep it dry to maintain its insulation function.

Outer Layer
In outside, you will need the outer layer to seal you out extreme elements, spine-chilling wind, drizzle or storms.
The best choice for most all-round solution is a waterproof and breathable jacket. If you would like to hike through denser forest or uneven terrain, durability is also important.
When you choose your outer layer, you had better pay more attention to the quality of zipper, seam-sealing instead of material alone. Follow the care instruction on the label.
Leave the room enough to fit over other layers to avoid movement restrict.
