Sanfo Outdoor Products Co., Ltd

Sanfo Outdoor Products Co., Ltd was started in May 1997 after the original founder, Zhang Heng had backpacked to the west region of China. During his journey, he noticed the beginning stage of China’s outdoor industry and shared with some foreigners their experience. Eventually, that trip inspired him to establish a store committing to Sports, Happiness and Dream.

In March 1998, the first store was opened at the east gate of Beijing University. At that time, only very poor quality outdoor products could be served. Luckily, we caught the opportunity and the market began to boom.

Sanfo now is the largest domestic retail store. We have extended our business by near 30 retail stores to Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Changchun and Qingdao. We also offer direct sales via the Internet (www.sanfo.com), telephone and mail.

Besides, our club also organizes various outdoor adventures which have involved ten thousands of people into the outdoor activities.

History

September, 1997 Zhangheng started Sanfo outdoor store shortly after his backpacking trip to western region of China. Located near Beijing University, it just covered 30 m2 .

October, 1998 The first outdoor camping activity on Simatai Great Wall of Sanfo Outdoor Club
