1983 A winning tradition begins:Trek sponsors it's first race team.Our first mountain bikes hit the trail.
1985 Trek bonded aluminum frames push the limits of road performance.
1986 We introduce our very first carbon road bike.
1990 Hybrids and kids bike start appearing at Trek dealers everywhere.
1992 OCLV Carbon is born.So is the world's lightest stock road frame.
1993 The off-road world says hello to our 9000 full suspension bike.
1996 A Trek mountain bike is just one of the unique features included with the special edition Volkswagen Jetta Trek.
1998 Trek takes a chance when nobody else will,signing a pro by the name of Lance Armstrong.
1999 Lance continues his comeback from cancer with his first victory at the Tour de France.He does it on a 5500 OCLV Carbon stock bike.
2000 Two new bike carry Lance to a second straight Tour de France win:the 5900 USPS Team Superlight with OCLV 110 Carbon ,and the USPS Team Time Trial with OCLV HC for the ultimate aerodynamic frame.
2001 Lance and his stock OCLV Carbon rides do it again :His third consecutive Tour de France victory equals the best showing by an American racer.
